    The Strategic Planning Leader is responsible for developing and executing strategy in collaboration with senior-level executives across all functions of the organization, including oversight of the analysis, design and implementation of clinical innovation and business transformation initiatives. This position will partner with and engage senior-level executives, and other staff throughout the organization, to complete market analyses, develop business cases, identify key performance metrics and assume direct accountability for strategy execution. This includes assembling, directing, motivating and leading cross-functional project teams, applying change leadership to influence effective business decisions and outcomes. The Strategic Planning Leader will work in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer and President & Chief Medical Officer to develop and deploy new strategies that improve clinical outcomes, increase operating efficiencies and promote growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversees the development and execution of strategy that supports the organization's financial stability and growth, improves clinical outcomes and increases operating efficiencies.
    • Provides hand-on strategic planning function across a wide array of strategic opportunities, engaging senior-level executive and other staff throughout the organization, through the analysis, design and implementation phases of each respective strategic area.
    • Oversees the design and implementation of data extraction and management from a variety of systems and sources. Uses data and analytics to inform decisions about what current programs and services provide value for the patient, provider and payor. Shares key information/analyses with senior-level executives to develop and execute strategies that drive change to improve profitability and promote growth.
    • Facilitates strategic planning meetings with senior-level executives to ensure outputs and drive critical business decisions that will ensure each phase of the strategic planning life cycle remains on track.
    • Cultivates strong relationships internally with leadership and necessary stakeholders for effective cross-functional collaboration. Builds and maintains solid relationships with the Payor community by influencing decision making and ensuring quality and satisfaction standards are met. Evaluates market conditions to identify and implement shifts in direction as needed.
    • Serves as a change agent to drive the implementation of strategy necessary to achieve demonstrated return on investment for each growth opportunity under his / her strategic leadership.
    • Performs other job-related duties as required.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
    • Master of Business Administration or Master of Public Health
    • Minimum of 2+ years of accomplished experience in a management consulting or business development role
    • Experience developing and implementing business strategy in a disruptive business environment
    • Possess strong oral and written communication skills, excellent problem solving and negotiation capability, as well as strong interpersonal, leadership and team building ability
    • Ability to facilitate strategic planning meetings with senior-level executives and other staff in the organization
    • The ability to effectively analyze complex issues/problems and lead/influence individuals and groups in developing and implementing successful growth strategies
    • Effective leadership and communication skills
