At AdvantageCare Physicians primary and specialty care is coordinated through an integrated network of full-service medical offices, regional specialty referral hubs, urgent care centers and strategic hospital affiliations across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Long Island.


    Assists staff with technical support of desktop/laptop computers, desk side phones, printers, peripherals, applications and related technology. Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment. Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Responsible for running projects with minimal supervision and performs on-call duties as required. Project examples: Medical office hardware deployments, Enterprise system migrations, KACE management deployment and UPS installation/ configuration.


    • Installation of hardware and software configurations, moves of PCs, troubleshooting and maintenance of computer systems, hardware and peripherals for ACPNY. 
    • Recognizes and escalates difficult technical scenarios within the organization or to external vendors.
    • Prioritizes both time and projects, working independently.
    • Works with support and/or product development personnel to troubleshoot and workaround product issues.
    • Creates Knowledge Base Articles / Technical Notes.
    • Provides on-call technical support.
    • Performs other job-related duties as required.


    • Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
    • A+ Certification
    • Network Plus Certification Preferred
    • Three to five years of technical support in a Windows environment including the installation and configuration of hardware including desktops, notebooks, printers, and scanners with excellent customer service skills (R)
    • Experience using Windows 7, desktop/laptop and Microsoft Office Suite work experience. (R)
    • Experience installing software, patches, and updates on desktops and laptops. (R)
    • Knowledge of enterprise anti-virus software. (R)
    • Extensive experience in examining, investigating and solving dynamic problems with ability to think "out-of-the-box” and develop creative solutions. (R)
    • Well-organized with the ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision. (R)
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to communicate effectively (R)
    • Networking experience, including basic knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching concepts (P)
    • Experience with Epic EMR system (P)
    • Experience working issues/cases at all technical levels. (P)
