    Job Summary


    We are seeking an Optometrist to join us in pursuit of high quality patient care.


    The ideal candidate should have:


    • 1-3 years clinical experience in an outpatient setting
    • Patient-centered approach toward a positive patient experience
    • Interest in Population Health
    • Must hold DPA and TPA Certifications and have successfully completed all parts of the NBEO examination Ability to exercise independent judgment, relative decision making with a high degree of accountability required
    • Working knowledge of pharmacology and evidence-based treatments for eye conditions and diseases required
    • Excellent understanding of HEDIS quality measures related to Ophthalmology required
    • Outstanding interpersonal and problem resolution skills required



    • Diagnoses and treats a wide variety of eye disorders
    • Non-invasively treats conditions and diseases of the human eye and visual system Provides patients undergoing eye surgeries, such as cataract and laser vision correction, with pre- and post-operative care.      
    • Diagnoses problems or impairments, prescribes corrective lenses
    • Performs refractions and prescribes, fits and adjusts eyeglasses, contact lenses and other vision aids
    • May prescribe therapeutic drugs to treat specific eye conditions
    • Prescribes therapeutic measures to correct or conserve vision such as vision therapy and low vision rehabilitation. 
    • Educate patients about their condition and the treatment plan
    • Maintains patient record
    • Refers patient to Ophthalmologist as needed





    • Completion of Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from an accredited Optometry school required
    • Successful completion of all parts of the NBEO examination required
    • Fulfill appropriate ongoing CME requirements required
