At AdvantageCare Physicians primary and specialty care is coordinated through an integrated network of full-service medical offices, regional specialty referral hubs, urgent care centers and strategic hospital affiliations across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Long Island.


    The Technology Architecture Director develops and maintains the high-level design plan for the overall logical and technical IT architecture for ACP. Provides hands on technical leadership and consulting across the organization and will gain company-wide commitment for all high-level architecture, roadmaps and standards, as well as lead the design, development and implementation of large-scale IT architecture projects.


    • Develop overall architecture approach for all layers of a complex or multi-function solution; evaluate systems proposals from a multi-function architectural perspective, including feasibility, practicality, technical viability, and consistency and continuity for a common architecture.
    • Develop, document, communicate and manage technology, data, application and security standards; review new and existing IT services and products for alignment with established standards.
    • Analyze industry trends to ensure the common technology architecture is current with industry standards and new technology implementation; develop, document, make recommendations and communicate plans for investing in IT services. Develop and communicate a forward looking technology roadmap that advances the Enterprise strategic IT plan. Cloud, DevOPS and automation are examples of the components of this roadmap.
    • Provide day to day operational awareness of ACPNY LAN and WAN. Coordinate support and escalation with technology partners to enable high availability of network.
    • Contribute to planning efforts, budget formulation and allocation of resources in support of the mission of the IT department.
    • Performs other job-related duties as required.



    • Bachelor's Degree in related technical field or 15+ years’ experience with Industry certifications
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience as an enterprise architect leading complex projects for enterprise-wide initiatives.
    • Expertise in standard process and project management concepts, methodologies and tools.
    • Demonstrated expertise in the following areas: Networking (design and maintenance), wireless, WAN (leased lines, MPLS, metro Ethernet), DNS, firewalls, VPN. Must have experience provisioning carrier services.
    • Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects and efforts simultaneously, including ability to set appropriate priorities to effect timely completion of numerous concurrent tasks and projects within defined resource limitations.
    • Demonstrated ability to form and maintain collaborative partnerships across a complex organization with diverse constituencies; ability to build consensus on complex and sometimes controversial subjects.
    • Proven ability to work with technology vendors in the delivery of project solutions; must have a breadth of knowledge of technology and IT market trends.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written; the ability to communicate effectively by adapting approach, language and style to a wide variety of audiences, including stakeholders that are both technical and non-technical; ability to grasp and communicate the big picture while remaining conversant with details.
    • Must have proven management skills, as well as strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead technical teams.


    • Master’s Degree Preferred
    • Technical certifications in related areas Preferred
