    Job Summary

     

    We are seeking General Cardiologists to join us in pursuit of high quality patient care 

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate

     

    • 1-3 years Cardiology clinical experience in an outpatient setting
    • Demonstrates competency in diagnosis, and treatment to assure high standards of patient care and safety are maintained.
    • Patient-centered approach toward a positive customer experience
    • Ability to treat adult and pediatric patient medical conditions
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Interest in Population Health Management

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Review patient’s history and perform physical examinations.  Evaluates diagnoses and provides appropriate treatment and patient care. 
    • Performs a wide range of non-invasive Cardiology procedures
    • Examines and treats disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system
    • Diagnoses patients with the aid of diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings
    • Heart disease early prevention screenings
    • Cardio and vascular disease early prevention detection screening
    • Metabolic testing
    • Peripheral vascular disease testing
    • Pacemaker and Defibrillator Monitoring
    • Echocardiography, Stress Echo Testing, & TEE - Transesophageal Echocardiography
    • Recommends suitable management for the patient, including but not limited to, preventive health recommendations and habits.
    • Prescribes medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.
    • Provides relationship-centered care, taking into account the patient’s psychosocial and physical needs.
    • Collects, records, and maintains patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.  Complete and insure accuracy of patient medical record.
    • Communicates effectively with the clinical team to insure total delivery of quality care.
    • Participates in medical staff educational programs and meetings.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

     

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or foreign equivalent.
    • Completion of four year post graduate medical training and three years of Fellowship training from an accredited Cardiology Fellowship program.
    • Seeking both experienced and newly trained providers.
    • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiology  
    • BLS Certification
    • Advanced certifications –  ACLS, PALS
    • Must possess current, unrestricted New York State license or be eligible for licensure.
    • Must possess a valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
    • Must possess Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.
    • Must possess strong communication skills both oral and written.
    • Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.

     

    Medical Office Hours of Operation

     

    Monday-Wednesday   8:00AM – 6:00PM

    Thursday                     8:00AM – 8:00PM

    Friday                          8:00AM – 5:00PM

    Saturday                      8:00AM – 1:00PM
