At AdvantageCare Physicians primary and specialty care is coordinated through an integrated network of full-service medical offices, regional specialty referral hubs, urgent care centers and strategic hospital affiliations across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Long Island.

     

    In collaboration with both Strategy and Business Intelligence leaders, build and own analytical infrastructure for performance management of the enterprise’s top priority projects. Generate reporting and analyses to support integrated strategic planning at ACPNY and EmblemHealth.Produce and package analyses that will be utilized by both C-suite leadership and field staff. Support ad hoc high-visibility projects identified during the course of business. Projects can span from clinical operations improvements to market sizing to financial modeling. Projects will result in organizational redesign and process improvements across the organization. Manage enterprise or functional-specific projects, with oversight and review by the Chief Strategy Officer.  

    Responsibilities

    • Lead development of strategy on assigned projects from the ground up: working with multiple data sources/data cleanup, working with end users/subject matter experts within the enterprise to validate analysis, executing project analysis on a timely and efficient basis, and synthesizing and presenting key messages in a compelling way. Projects will vary in scope and intensity, and can include:
    • Root cause analysis of identified problems within clinical operations or business departments
    • Estimating ROI of potential new initiatives
    • Monitoring and performance management around new initiatives
    • Market sizing/market scoping new opportunities utilizing both internal and external data
    • Guide production of monthly performance scorecards and own the metrics associated with the scorecards; lead process improvement efforts for data generation/data gathering.
    • Review timely project status reporting with the Chief Strategy Officer for prioritization, risk escalation and mitigation, and interdependency management with current and planned strategic planning efforts.
    • Serve as liaison between Strategy and Business Intelligence departments to identify and execute projects. Work closely with all members of the Strategic Planning team, as needed, to understand the full scope of Strategic Planning efforts, risks and findings.

     

    Qualifications

    Required

    • 5+ years’ experience practicing various research methodologies and managing/analyzing multiple datasets to support decision-making (R).
    • Financial Modeling (R). MBA may be substituted for some years of experience.
    • Proficiency with Visual Basic, SQL, (R) and Crystal (P)
    • Advanced knowledge of various software database programs (Excel, Access) (R)
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills(R) 
    • Ability to manage and multi-task several operations/projects at once in a fast-paced changing environment (R)
    • Demonstrated analytical and creative problem solving skills to develop new solutions and practices (R)
    • Understanding of context of the company’s functions in the market and larger healthcare landscape (R)
    • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in business-to-business setting (R)

    Preferred

    • Experience with Epic applications (P)
