We are seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide medical services in collaboration with our primary care physicians. Join us in pursuit of high quality patient care to provide a full scope of primary care services including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education & Experience
Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or graduate of a Nurse Practitioner education program registered by the New York State Education Department.
Experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners highly desired.
Current NCCPA Board Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a New York State approved accrediting body (ANCC) or be eligible for board certification.
Current and unrestricted licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner by the New York State Department of Education or be eligible for licensure.
Must possess Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.
Must possess Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.
Experience working with diverse populations in an ambulatory healthcare setting.
1-3 years of related experience
Experience working with diverse populations in an ambulatory healthcare setting
Must possess strong communication skills both oral and written.
Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.
